Its all about

Collaboration

- We need to work together to get results!

The key objective of the ARCC is to bring together all of the stakeholders in rhino and wildlife conservation in a collaborative and cooperative effort to maximise the results of the intense effort and donor funding.

Once we are all working together, the ARCC model targets 5 action areas:

Protection
Awareness
Rhino Management
Rural Communities

Law Enforcement

Our Mission

~ To secure the future of the African rhino in the wild

Objective

To create a conservation model that brings together protection, awareness, research, law enforcement and rural community participation in a coordinated collaboration of individuals, organisations and government to ensure the future of rhino and other wildlife in the wild.

Conservation in Africa is about integrating people and sustainable socio-economic systems with the land, landscape and wildlife in functional ecosystems. To focus on individual charismatic species and individual animals at the expense of investing in habitat, ecosystems and rural people, is likely, all too soon, to consign those species to history.

The African Black and White Rhino are charismatic species under imminent threat of extinction and which, along with species like the African elephant, are the torch bearers for the conservation of all wildlife in Africa.”
