Game Reserve Lodge Guests:

ARCC is located equidistant from the boundaries of both Shamwari and Amakhala Game Reserves as well as being on the access route of at least another 4 private and 1 government owned safari destination. Some 6000 Guests pass through the lodges of Amakhala Game Reserve each year and probably a further 10000 through Shamwari Game Reserve. All lodge operators, on all the partner reserves and in the nearby towns and cities, will be encouraged to offer a visit to the ARCC as a core activity for their Guests. Apart from charging a Visitor Fee, the lodge Guests will be encouraged to donate, during their “conservation crisis experience”, into an immediate donations box or to take away donor information forms which will encourage donations from Guests once they have returned home. With no factual grounds for the expectation, the ARCC anticipates that this approach will yield a substantial flow of public donation funding. A thorough market and experience development analysis is required.
